Income Tax Return Date Extended 2018
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the
due date for filing of Income Tax Returns to August 31, 2018, from 31st
July 2018. It means the person who requires filing return under section 139 on
or before 31st July 2018 can file return up to 31st
August 2018 without paying any default payments of Rs 5,000. If person file
return after 31st August 2018 is liable to pay RS 5,000 for late
filling return.
Following person is eligible to file return on or before 31st
August 2018 for the year ending 31/03/2018.

Salary Person
2.
Person having Hosue property income
3.
Person doing business but tax audit or any other
audit is not required.
4.
Income from head of capital gain or Other source
